This weekend we braved the heat at the Colchester Medieval Festival, putting on a number of combat displays and interacting with the crowds.
The festival was packed with stalls selling all kinds of wares. From jewellery, pottery, and mead to swords (toy and real ones) and reenactment clothes. There was also plenty of food to be had!
We were a popular attraction, with many people coming to watch our combat displays. We talked about our favourite topics of medieval weapons and armour. There was also time for a number of walk-arounds, where members posed for photos and answered questions.
