We are so excited to announce that we completed our 5K charity run this morning! We had a great time, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing community.
A big thank you to everyone who donated to our cause. Your generosity will help us make a real difference in the lives of others.
We also want to thank The Kentwell Players for providing stirring music to keep our spirits up. Their performance was truly inspiring.
Over 50 people took part in the run, including a dozen of us in various amounts of armour. The weather was warm but not too hot, which was good for those of us in armour. There was even a ferocious dragon chasing the runners! The course wasn’t muddy, but it was uneven in places, which gave us some challenges but nothing we couldn’t overcome.
Everyone who took part received either a wooden medal, for unarmoured runners, or a metal one for the armoured runners, both feature the Blade Runners logo.
We are so proud to announce that we have managed to reach our target of £1,600! This money will go directly to the charity, and there is still time to donate.
