It’s been quite an event season for us. So far we have appeared at Henham, Cheshunt, Saffron Walden, Stonham Barns, Heveningham Hall and Ipswich with our final event of the year at Framlingham this weekend.
It was hard work but great fun, even when fighting in 30+ degree heat!
Not only have we been busy putting on fights, cooking food, talking about 15th Century arms and armour, we’ve also been talking to all of the wonderful people who came to our little area to say hello and watch. It’s always a pleasure to have positive feedback from visitors but also to see the beaming faces when someone gets to try out a sword or bit of armour.
Once we wrap up the show we have a couple of weeks to plan our next steps for the group but we are not hanging around. We have dates for training sessions at the 13th Scout Hut, Ipswich for your diary. All are a Sundays from 2pm to 4pm.
